The newest console supported is the GameCube which was released in 2001, 20~ years ago, the oldest is the original Gameboy from 1989.
We are only preserving games cartridges that are no longer for sale or digital games whose stores have been taken down and only overpriced physical copies exist (from which the original game creators get none of the money anyway).
